About Your Host

Eloise has her roots from the Philippines where she started baking as a teenager. This ultimately led her to pursue her passion in the pastry arts. Fast forward to a few years later, in 2009, she was able to establish her dessert café in North Beach in San Francisco. Aside from being a small business owner in the food industry, she finds joy in sharing her baking (and life) experiences to her guests in her workshops. Her baking philosophy is all about mastering the basic techniques to create delicious treats through a simplified, systematic and straightforward approach.

What we'll do

Been dreaming how to make those fancy french macarons you tasted but seem too intimidating for you to make? It's about time you challenge yourself to overcome this tiny, gluten-free delicacy. The class will teach you how to make french macarons from making the perfect shell to filling it with melt in your mouth ganache. Recipes, as well as tips, secrets and techniques are all included. Upon completing the class you will take home your own completed macarons, a new set of delicious skills and lots of confidence! You may learn to make any one of these popular flavors: Lavender Chocolate Earl Grey Red Velvet Blueberry Rose Peppermint Mocha Raspberry Salted Caramel Feel free to BYOB. I try my best to accommodate certain requests and/or dietary restrictions. Advance notice is required. Tools, equipment and recipes will be provided. Please wear close-toed shoes to the class; wear light and comfortable you have shoulder-length hair or longer, please wear it back and away from your face; Feel free to bring a favorite apron and an airtight container to bring your treats home.
