Create Italian Style Macarons Come learn to make macarons in an array of beautiful colors. The recipe comes directly from Le Cordon Blue in Paris, where I studied dessert making. Now, I can share what I learned with you! In this small group class, every student will work hands-on with the different steps in creating macarons. We will work with the dry ingredients first, then create the batter, and finally pipe the macarons. In 3 hours, you'll end up with a box of beautiful macarons to take home! We will learn the macaronage technique, and we will make a perfect Italian meringue in order to create stable macaron shells. We will make the filling from ganache and the traditional pastry cream. Filling flavors: - Dark Chocolate Orange - Passion Fruit - White Chocolate Raspberry - Pastry Cream Classes are held in a 102-year-old converted church choir loft with a bell tower. PLEASE NOTE: Any cancellations within 48 hours will not be entitled to a refund of any kind. This is different from Verlocal's default cancellation policy, so please keep that in mind!

I was born in Udon Thani in Thailand, the youngest of five sisters. After a happy childhood, I spent four studying Science and Mathematics at Mahidol University. After working for seven years in Thailand as a quality auditor, financial planner, and distributor executive I decided to come to San Francisco to get a master degree to improve my career. I went to school for Hospitality Management at SFSU followed by a culinary degree at Le Cordon Blue in Paris. Since then I have enjoyed cooking and having friends over to eat with us.
