About Your Host

I was born in Udon Thani in Thailand, the youngest of five sisters. After a happy childhood, I spent four studying Science and Mathematics at Mahidol University. After working for seven years in Thailand as a quality auditor, financial planner, and distributor executive I decided to come to San Francisco to get a master degree to improve my career. I went to school for Hospitality Management at SFSU followed by a culinary degree at Le Cordon Blue in Paris. Since then I have enjoyed cooking and having friends over to eat with us. I think the most enjoyable thing to do with friends is to cook and eat together, so after several years of doing this in San Francisco my friends have urged me to try having classes to teach simple, practical Thai meal preparation. What we'll do

Learn to Make Delicious Thai Dishes Classes are held in a 102-year-old converted church choir loft with a bell tower. I grow some of my Thai spices here. I am from Thailand and I have been living here in San Francisco for almost 9 years. I love cooking, meeting people, and eating. I also believe that food can bring people together and sharing food is a great experience all over the world. If you have something in common with me, I hope to see you at my classes or dinner events. It is a hands-on Thai cooking class that is hosted by me, Sunshine. The price includes all ingredients for appetizer, entree, and dessert. You will also get a welcome drink as well. All meals will accommodate for Vegetarians and other strict diets.
