DIY Succulent Terrarium Workshop - San Francisco
It's just about the time of year when you should start planning out your handmade holiday gifts! Learn to make terrariums at this workshop, and take those skills home to make them for friends and family, too. In this fun, 1.5 hour workshop, you'll get your hands dirty while learning all about how to design with and care for succulents. We'll discuss what succulents are, how to care for them, and how to propagate them. Did you know that you can grow a whole new plant from a single leaf? To create your terrarium, you'll get to pick from a huge selection of succulents, pebbles, and mosses to decorate your new "tiny world." There will be plenty of demonstrations and hands-on help along the way. You'll practically be a terrarium guru by the time you leave! We also do team-building workshops! Get in touch if you'd like to have us come out to your office and teach your team how to make terrariums. *ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED! PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Our January and February workshops are held at Creative Canopy in the Inner Richmond District. In March, we are moving to a location in SOMA. So if you sign up for the March workshop, the location in your confirmation will be INCORRECT! We will message you with the correct location.
My love of succulents stems from my long-time residence in San Francisco's Outer Sunset neighborhood, which is full of wondrous succulents both large and small that thrive with minimal care and survive the harsh ocean winds, sandy soil, and fog. I have been working with succulents professionally for years, and love sharing my passion for these amazing plants with others!
