Start learning how to make jam from home There's nothing like a jar of homemade jam to brighten up your breakfast or make an edible gift for someone special. In this hands-on class, you will learn how to create delicious jams, jellies & preserves from scratch. You will learn the basics of home preservation, including how to safely use the water bath canning process to preserve your jars for up to a year. Each student will leave with at least 2 jars of preserves made in class (Apricot Habanero Jelly, Plum Cardamom Jam, or Pear-Ginger-Lime Preserves are just a few of the options we may explore) plus recipes and resources for repeating the process at home.
