M - F, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM 12/19/2016 - 12/23/2016 Session Type: Art & Jewelry Camp Ages 5-14 Winter Art & Jewelry Making & Design Camp: Join Dragonfly Designs and our Art & Jewelry Making Essentials Team this winter for the Bay Area’s day camp that brings out your creative side. Shake off winter blues with an eye-opening hour of yoga to get the mind and body aligned before tapping into your creativity for a day full of art & beading bliss! Yoga & Jewelry Making Techniques: Campers will jump into the artistic process and come away with a brand new collection of gorgeous art & jewelry pieces and the skills to make each one of them! We teach a wide array of art & jewelry techniques not to be found elsewhere, including crimping, patina, resin, stamping and dapping, mosaics, candle & soap making, painting, tie dye and copper etching. Each hand-made original piece will also make great holiday gifts! Outdoor Time: Lunchtime with Dragonfly Designs brings the opportunity to discover a bit of the surrounding ecology as we incorporate elements found and observed in nature into the creation of gorgeous art & jewelry projects. Our Expert Staff: Our highly trained instructors are college-educated and often design their own art & jewelry. Their expert assistance will help campers tap into the unique world of San Francisco’s art & jewelry design to make pieces worthy of a storefront window. Campers will come home each day with not only enough art & jewelry to fill an entire jewelry box, but lasting friendships, a great experience and a memorable week of artistic hands on fun! Boys & Girls ages 5 and up, all levels welcome!
