Explore the San Francisco Street Art Scene Many people visiting or living in San Francisco have seen the street art covering the city's walls. While many districts are filled with artwork that define San Francisco's street art movement, there are a couple distinctions that make each area unique. For example, the Tenderloin area is full of more unofficial and underground work, while North Beach and Chinatown are filled with high end commissioned mural work that are of the traditional and aerosol art styles. We will meet at 666 Filbert St. and explore all of the hidden gems within the area. We will walk up through the streets, digging through and rediscovering some street art that define San Francisco's street art movement. Throughout the tour, I will explain the history behind, personalities of, and fun facts about notable street artists, whose works we will encounter.
