Japanese Stab Binding - Bookbinding Workshop
Join us and learn the ever useful Stab Binding Method. This type of binding allows you to sew individual sheets of paper together such as the pages of a script, document, or short story. During the workshop students will prepare the text block by compiling and drilling paper and cover, wax thread and sew your book. You will choose your cover paper and thread from our colorful selection of archival materials to make the book uniquely yours. What you make Each student will make one 8.5 x 11" book with 80lb text weight paper.
