Pasta Making Class (Visana)
Join us and learn how to make Italian fresh cavatelli pasta! Cavatelli pasta is from Puglia region in southern Italy. It is made with a variety of doughs, and this class will use a ricotta dough recipe. You will get hands-on training on how to mix the dough by hand, form the dough, roll and cook cavatelli, make delicious sauces and enjoy the dish! We use the finest and freshest ingredients for you to taste and enjoy. We'll also go over resources in NYC to find the ingredients and basic equipment you'll need for making your own pasta at home. We provide all the equipment and ingredients. No experience is required! Our events are casual – from the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step to the friend who’d rather assist (and taste) and meant to be fun and instructive, not hard core. Secure your seats 15 minutes before start time, especially if part of a large group. Food and drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside food and drink are not allowed. 21+ only.
Hi! My name is Billy and I'm the founder and CEO of CocuSocial in NYC! CocuSocial hosts recreational cooking events at local bars. A class at CocuSocial does more than help you learn to cook. It brightens up your social life. Friends and strangers gather in a welcoming local bar or restaurant for informative, hands-on lessons in creating delightful entrees, from rolling up tasty morsels of sushi to delicately folding Asian dumplings, from preparing colorful, flavorful desserts to baking cupcakes. We invite you to come with friends, cook a dish, grab a drink, and have fun!
