Styling + Storytelling for Social Media
How do you create a good story with your brand with social media? In this 3 hour class, we do a series of hands-on exercises on how you can tell the most fitting story for your brand for social media. Through visuals, we learn to tell stories that best fit your brand and attract someones eye. We run through discovering what that angle is, styling, composition, consistency, editing and posting for social media with a focus on Instagram. Led by Stylist, Cherie Marquez of La Fleur Kitchen, Cherie has styled for brands such as such as Kinfolk, Anthropologie, Splendid, Free People, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, Eva Franco, Warby Parker, Schwinn Bicycles and Le Sportsac. If you make, create or design your own product, feel free to bring it in for styling purposes. You may also bring any small props you think may be fitting. Come prepared with a fully charged phone and upload the following apps prior to the workshop: ReTouch, VSCO and Snapseed This workshop is intended for beginners or those wanting to learn how to improve their feed for an audience that best reflects the type of customer or client they are looking for. Light refreshments to be served. Price: $75/person
