A traveler since birth, Josh found himself - literally & internally - in Thailand during one of his many escapades in the culinary arts. Leaving the thralls of the kitchen life, he spent three years as a fully ordained Buddhist monk from 2007-2010. A continual student with master meditators & bodyworkers in the Theravāda & Vajrayana traditions, he assists them as a translator, researcher, scribe, and general sherpa. A devout student of the BuddhaDharma, Josh focuses his passions on both detail-oriented and holistic perspectives of the traditions he practices; including the Dhammakāya and Kammatthāna lineages. Josh has received bodywork training from the Wat Po School of Thai Traditional Medicine, Triple Gem School of Thai Massage, Noam Tyroler's School of Thai Acupressure for Orthopedic Disorders, and the Naga Center. A 200hr certified yoga instructor from Frog Lotus Yoga, Josh currently focuses on 'Reusi Dat Ton’ - the ancient Thai Hermit system of yoga-āsana and breathwork. Though he feels there is still lots he clearly does not know, he fervidly shares with others in a humble, down-to-earth way. When not traveling internationally, he can be found with his family in the Berkshires. For more info visit: www.joshuajayintoh.com
