Let it Snow! Winter Camp.
Ages: 5-10 Come inside from the cold and join us to make some wonderful wintry creations! Join us for our favorite cold-weather projects- snowflakes, snowmen, and snow sports galore! During the first hour of camp each day we will work on a drawing or painting project inspired by our wintry theme. When it's time for a short break, we walk one block to the park (weather permitting) for some fresh air, or relax inside and eat our snacks. Please send a small snack and drink with your child each day. During the second half of class, students will make winter crafts out of sculpey clay and other great materials. Class size is limited to twelve so that each artist receives plenty of attention. We will hold a brief art reception promptly at the end of class on the last day to celebrate the creations and friendships we have made. Check for the location. We have two-Thrive Art School at Madison and Ravenna!
First of all, I would like to point out a couple important things: 1 Art is a magic that brings you calm and relaxation! 2 We are so lucky to live in the most beautiful state Washington! I used to be a pediatrician, because I love helping people and working with kids, but I moved to Seattle and fell in love with art and hiking. I changed my life, bought Thrive Art School, hike a lot and climbed up to bunch of 14000 feet mounts like Mt.Rainer (twice), Mt. Evans and Mt. Elbert...to be continued. So, now about Thrive: Thrive Art school is a local school in Seattle area that has two locations (Madison Valley and Ravenna) and it turned 16 years old in 2016! Thrive Art school offers year-round Fine Art classes and Special Interest series for children, teens and adults. Our students not only learn how to draw and paint, they develop creative problem-solving skills and increase their self-confidence.
