During this class, we will take you to your favorite grocery store and show you how to purchase foods and understand food labels as they correspond to your recommended diet plan, how to dine out in restaurants, manage your diet and insulin on trips and vacations, and even how to cook for one person. Then you will have a two hour cooking class taught in your home which will show you how to map out your meals to match your recommended carb count. LEARN REAL LIFE SKILLS YOU WILL USE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! GROCERIES ARE INCLUDED!

GLUCA Foods offers cooking classes, catering and meal preparation services for diabetics as our specialty. However, we will work with anyone looking to make healthier life choices with their food. Our clients span all over the Denver Metro Area including Arvada, Golden, Parker, Thornton, Broomfield, Lafayette, Denver Tech Center, Morrison, Evergreen, and pretty much anywhere within a 25 mile radius of downtown Denver. Classes cost $85 per participant, and include the groceries. Unlike many traditional cooking classes, our focus is on learning technique rather than just recipes. We also bring all the pots and pans and cooking equipment necessary for the class. We even do the dishes. So all of your time is spent cooking and learning. As a greater benefit, every participant will get a packet which outlines everything learned in the class. We hold the classes in your home, or if you have a group of 8 or more; our commercial kitchen space is also available. Menus are tailored to the client, so you are cooking the food you love while expanding your knowledge of cooking, knife skills. and confidence in the kitchen.
