Gear up and set out for the beautiful alpine lakes of the Cascade Range. Join us for this overnight adventure into the great wilderness and learn the fundamentals of backpacking. We have two wonderful options that our trip could be: Annette Lake is our primary location, and Snow Lake as our secondary. On the first day we set out from the trailhead and venture into the wooded hills of the Cascades. With a comfortable pace we will hike and talk about backpacking and outdoor safety skills. When we reach our destination we will make camp and show how to cook in the backcountry. This is a great opportunity to learn about choosing foods and planning ahead to leave no trace. Kick back and relax by the lake or take an evening stroll without the backpack and watch the sunset. On the second day we wake up to the sound of morning songbirds and the smell of delicious cooking. After breakfast we will break camp and begin our hike out.
