The American Rhythm Center is a program of the Chicago Human Rhythm Project. The new home for dance in Chicago, offering affordable classes for dancers of all levels and rehearsal spaces for dance and theater arts. Major funding has been provided by Elaine Cohen and Arlen Rubin, The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, The Joyce Foundation, The Boeing Company, Pamela Crutchfield, The Richard H. What we'll do

Break Dance is the first style of Hip Hop/Street Dance. It is a unique urban style of the hip hop culture that incorporates acrobatic dance. Instructor Monty Rezell will teach students the foundation of Break Dancing which includes top rocking, down rocking, freezes, power moves and more. Note: This class is designed for ages 13 and up.
