Billing & Credit Card Information
Join us on July 19th from 6-8 p.m. for a drawing night with Isa of Gentle Thrills! Drawing nights are a fun way to let your hair down, chat with new faces, & remember that everybody sees things a little differently! Isa will be setting up a "fruit salad" still life featuring funky fruit, silly knick-knacks, & other inspiring treats, and then walk you through a few of her favorite drawing exercises (or leave u the heck alone if you're ready to hit the ground running). We'll have markers, paper, & Isa's also bringing her button maker so you can leave with a few treats of your own to keep or share!
Plus! Enjoy special cocktails, snacks and a 15% discount in our shop!
About the series:
Neighborhood Craft Night brings people together to enjoy each other's company, imbibe in good food and drinks, and make things with their hands. For each event, we partner with a different artist from our community who presents a project related to their craft.
About the Artist: Isa Beniston of Gentle Thrills is a Southern-California born and raised artist who has been living and working in Los Angeles since 2010. In 2014, she graduated from UCLA’s School of Arts and Architecture and spent several years teaching kindergarteners, middle schoolers, high school students, and kids in juvenile hall. Teaching kids kept her drawings fresh, playful, earnest, and colorful. In 2015, Isa started Gentle Thrills, a fun-loving retail brand based in DTLA that blurs the line between fine art and commercial goods. Her work is worn regularly by Post Malone, was featured in Brie Larson’s Unicorn Store and Aidy Bryant’s Shrill, and is stocked in shops all over the world.
All proceeds help support our programming and pay our featured artist for their work. We are asking for a $5-$15 suggested donation. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you are unable to pay, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll work something out!

We are passionate about teaching others to slow down and create things by hand. We love helping our students make items to beautify their homes and give as gifts while learning traditional craft techniques. All of our teachers are formally trained artists, and bring this perspective into their teaching- we encourage students to experiment, express themselves, and have fun!
