Summary
In this class, you learn how to make your own lip balm and lip tint using 100% natural ingredients. You'll learn why it's important to use natural ingredients on your skin and the difference between an essential oil and a fragrance. Each student will go home with two lip balms including one clear and one tint. Mix your own scents with the essential oils provided and dive into the world of plant-based skincare. METTA GOOD is a handmade, small batch, artisan lip balm, and body products business inspired by love and nature. They use ethically sourced beeswax and premium essential oils and buy local, organic, and fair trade ingredients when possible. METTA GOOD was created by Nicole Spear in San Francisco, CA in the tight-knit neighborhood of Bernal Heights. After her son was born she realized it was time to create the business that incorporated her passion for making healthy skincare products using whole ingredients into other peoples skincare routine. Nicole developed her signature lip balm recipe over a span of two years before she finally felt it was finished. This care goes into all her products and delivers a quality you can feel and trust.

DIY  Workshops in San Francisco's Mission District
Jenny Lemons is a colorful, modern line of hand-painted & block printed women's clothing and home goods run by San Francisco-based artist, Jennie Lennick. Her retail store in the Mission District is a community space where she facilitates DIY workshops, produces her products, and showcases the talents of other local artists. All products offered are manufactured locally in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are passionate about teaching others to slow down and create things by hand. We love helping our students make items to beautify their homes and give as gifts while learning traditional craft techniques. All of our teachers are formally trained artists, and bring this perspective into their teaching- we encourage students to experiment, express themselves, and have fun!
