Billing & Credit Card Information
Join us at Jenny Lemons workspace in the Misson as we go behind the scenes of our Winter Smudge Sticks! We entwine, forage, and burn our special smudge with intention and purpose - in this class, we'll go in depth about the properties of each botanical element we use in our smudge sticks, our foraging and seasonal uses for each wand, sustainable practices, and the history of healing through smudge wands. We make our smudge sticks in small batches with seasonal elements, so in the class, we'll be utilizing herbal and floral elements from our winter season. Some of the botanical elements we'll use and learn about include:
- Sage, Cedar, Lavender, Amaranth, Juniper, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Yarrow, and Peppermint.
In this two hour class, all materials will be provided for you to make two-four smudge wands, as well as a curated selection of our gemstones that you can tie to your wand, or set in your space for burning.
About the Rust and Flourish:
Rust and Flourish is founded artist and florist, Ricci Candè. Ricci's love of flowers started at a very early age when she would collage with her mother's garden and Martha Stewart magazines. Her BFA background in Art History and Photography serves as a powerful link to her creations. Ever-evolving, Ricci's aesthetic and inspiration is derived from English antique and vintage, the old masters, the photograph, and of course, seasonal blooms. When she isn't designing, Ricci can be found snacking around with her cat, Binx.

We are passionate about teaching others to slow down and create things by hand. We love helping our students make items to beautify their homes and give as gifts while learning traditional craft techniques. All of our teachers are formally trained artists, and bring this perspective into their teaching- we encourage students to experiment, express themselves, and have fun!
