About the instructor: Taught by her grandmother and mother, Dana Miller began sewing as a child. In March of 2009, she took a quilting class and my passion grew from there. For the past 10+ years, Dana has spent many hours perfecting her sewing and quilting skills. She runs an online store and has participated in numerous local craft fairs including Fog Fest, Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival and the San Carlos Art & Wine Festival. When she is not pursuing her creative desires, Dana enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is active in surfing, snowboarding, hiking, backpacking and enjoys time at her cabin in Twain Harte.

We are passionate about teaching others to slow down and create things by hand. We love helping our students make items to beautify their homes and give as gifts while learning traditional craft techniques. All of our teachers are formally trained artists, and bring this perspective into their teaching- we encourage students to experiment, express themselves, and have fun!
