Hey there, I am an artist whose medium, natural dyes, is the primary focus of my work. I use natural dyes as a medium for dyeing and printing textiles, installation, my own apparel line KAM Textiles. Most importantly I work with plant dyes and local fibers as a conceptual vehicle to demonstrate how we are all connected to the natural world. I spent the last year growing a baby and learning how to be a mother. The previous year I spent draping patterns and developing a color story for my new dress collection which I'm launching Spring 2016. Most days I spend in nature wildcrafting and harvesting color. I currently work with LA Fibershed, The Ecology Center and my own line KAM Textiles, connecting the nodes through projects and collaborative work.
