A hand drawn illustration of Oregon, featuring Mt Hood, a Western Meadowlark (the state bird), roses, trees, and lovely patterns. Originally drawn in ink. This is an unframed giclee print of an original artwork, artist signature on back. The artwork is printed on Somerset Velvet paper using Epson Ultrachrome professional archival inks. The printed area measures 10"x8", while the paper extends to 12"x10" to allow for easy framing. Artist signature on back. This print will be shipped securely packed in a waterproof plastic sleeve and hardboard mailer.
I started as a student of art history, and then became an elementary art teacher. Watching my students create inspired me to start making art of my own. I still love history, and I love to teach, but I have also found my own artistic voice and I'm addicted--I can't stop creating! My primary medium is drawing using ink and I also enjoy dabbling in watercolor and acrylic paint. I live in Portland, OR with my husband and two dogs. I consider it a huge compliment that you are here, reading about my shop and considering my art. Thank you for stopping by! Like what you see?
