Don’t be intimidated by your SLR camera! We can break down the jargon and teach you the functions that will get you to a place where you’re taking great photos, every time!
Some of the functions that we’ll work on include composition, understanding light, aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. The first thing you’ll do is to take your camera out of automatic, and put it into manual settings mode.
Stunning views and magnificent sunsets are part of the San Francisco experience. Learn how to use your SLR or point-and-shoot camera to capture those great shots. Our photography instructor has an incredible ability to teach new skills to novice and experienced photographers alike.
The class is 1.5 hours in duration, and taught during the period just before sunset (the "Golden Hour") allowing us access to great lighting and terrific sunsets. The class times vary depending on the time of sunset, please pay close attention to the time when registering.
This is a hands-on photography class, taught in an outdoor setting. This forces us to adjust to the conditions of the evening, adapting and learning as we go. We will work individually, as well as in small groups, to both set up and practice taking great shots. Getting to know your camera’s functionality, and putting that knowledge into practice under the watchful eye of an instructor will give you the tools you need to capture and share memories for many years to come.
CANCELLATIONS.
Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable but can be rescheduled for a fee of $20. Cancellations within 24 hours of the class cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
