What we’ll do

**Please Book 24 hour or more in advance of desired date!*** Join us as we take you through the Vibrant Castro and Mission districts! With a Bay Area Native leading you along the way, learn about the radical histories of these neighborhoods and the leaders that shaped our wonderful city to be the diverse, welcoming place that it is! We begin at Harvey Milk Plaza in the Castro and walk rainbow-paved roads, visiting ground zero for Harvey Milk’s gay civil rights movement. After a short break, we head to Dolores Park, which provides a sweeping view of the city and unveils the Mission, our most culturally rich and politically apt neighborhood. We’ll see stunning political street art, and learn how feminists, Latinos, artists and activists have fought, and continue to fight, for the soul of SF. You will see stunning street art and murals, innovative restaurants, the old Mission itself and walk away with an understanding of current issues and communities that define our daily life. What we see: Harvey Milk Plaza, the Castro’s protest grounds The Human Rights Campaign Store Pink Triangle Holocaust Memorial Castro Theatre, Art Deco masterpiece GLBT Museum, 1st stand-alone queer museum Harvey Milk’s camera store & apartment Mission Massive murals of the Women’s Building and alleyways Gourmet foodie corridor of 18th Street Tales of resilience and community organizing Mission High School, alma mater of Santana and Maya Angelou Sites of former lesbian institutions Sweeping views of beloved Dolores Park Know Before You Book: – Includes cafe break – Great for solo adventurers and families – Bring cash to tip your guide Cancellation Policy: Wild SF Tours may cancel tour if less than 5 people signed up, and notify guest via email to rebook or refund
