Growing up as artistically-bent cousins, comedian Tim Unkenholz and actor Liz Phillips have always had a quiet competitiveness between each other, so they created a show at QED that lets out their combative feelings in a (slightly) healthy way. The Rivalry pits two teams of two storytellers against each other with a winner being declared through audience response. Come on down and join the family!

We like to think of Q.E.D. as an after-school space for grown-ups.
Café, rehearsal and co-working space by day, fun after-work hang out for classes, events and shows by night.
Our affordable classes and shows are as diverse as Queens itself. At Q.E.D. you’ll find arts and crafts, stand-up comedy, tastings, DIY projects, poetry slams, game nights, walking tours, storytelling, gardening, improv, and everything in between.
In a nutshell, we aim to provide a fun, creative, casual space to laugh and learn by opening our stage to performers of various levels of experience and hosting classes and workshops that are affordable and accessible to all types of folks.
