Discover the Little Italy with a real Italian!
Are you interested in discovering North Beach in San Francisco? Join me in this walking tour in the Little Italy and you will know something more about the gems of this amazing neighborhood and learn the hidden stories of the streets, buildings, and people living here! We will walk around and talk about the first inhabitants and Italian immigrants, the Gold Rush, the 1906 earthquake and fire, the first topless bars in the U.S., the poets of the Beat generation, Coppola's winery, the contemporary artists beautifying this part of the city... and much more! You will be surprised by the number of fascinating stories these places can tell us! The tour lasts approximately 3 hours. We will also have a break to drink a real Italian espresso at the Caffé Trieste and at the end I will give you some suggestions on the best Italian restaurants where you can taste some real Italian food and wine!
