Long before it was a buzzword, mindfulness has been an ancient Buddhist practice. Discover mindfulness meditation with Bhante Suddhāso, an American monk ordained in the Theravāda sect of Buddhism, and trained in the Thai Forest Tradition. Each class includes preliminary meditation instructions, a period of silent meditation, a talk on topics related to meditation practice, and time for group discussion and questions. According to weather conditions, classes will take place indoors or outdoors on the beach. All classes are offered FREE of charge; anyone may attend and no one is turned away.
