Peer into New York's dark past and uncover hidden secrets when you visit places ruled by some of the city's most powerful gangs and mobs. Head to Little Italy, once the heart of a tight community of Italian immigrants, to hear stories about mob activities and visit notorious spots. You’ll also explore the little-known history of the Chinese migration to New York, and the dominance of dangerous street gangs and underground opium dens, as well as the ruthless gangs in the infamous Five Points area, and what became of them. Along the way you’ll stop to see historic sites, sample the local fare and discover hidden stories waiting to be revealed.

For Robin London, every walk is a new production and the streets of New York are her stage. Not only is she passionate about the neighborhoods, but she played in many of these streets as a child and has memories to share. She loves New York’s cultural neighborhoods for the people and the food, and of course the shopping. A walk with Robin means plenty of stories, lots of facts and quite a few stops to shop and nosh along the way.
Today, Robin is passionate about sharing the colorful stories of her heritage and of so many other immigrant families across New York City. A licensed NYC tour guide, she has been a member of the National Association of Mobile Entertainers for 25 years and the National Association of Storytellers for 15 years. She is a member of GANYC Guides Association of New York City. She holds a degree in education from Queens College.
