Join us for a monthly lettering club meetup where we'll gather to practice, share and get constructive feedback to enhance our letter-forms. A great way to network and cultivate your calligraphy and lettering skills!
This is a judment free zone and no prior calligraphy experience is required. Essentially a girl's night out* for makers (*guys are welcome, too!), the meet-up is a good excuse to get out of the house, practice your art, and make new friends!
Bring your supplies and your sketchbook.
While many people who attend the meetup have attended our calligraphy classes, this event is open to the public. Bring your supplies and your sketchbook and join us!

Sarah Ward of
Calligraphy + Lettering Workshops in Seattle
Hi, I'm Sarah! I am a Lettering Artist in Seattle who is passionate about cultivating community.
I teach calligraphy and hand lettering and have had hundreds of students come through my curriculum in recent years. In my classes, you can expect to learn tried and tested techniques and practical application in a supportive, engaging and interactive environment. My teaching style is warm and demonstrative and I frequently receives rave reviews from my students. In addition to regular calligraphy and lettering classes, you can plug into our monthly Seattle Calligraphy Meetup.
I took my first calligraphy class in the 6th grade and fell in love with the art form. In college I studied Visual Design with a Certified Image Master where I honed my design instincts and calligraphy gives me an opportunity to blend my design and education background. A few years ago I rediscovered modern calligraphy and have studied with renown calligraphers and letterers.
