Expert-Led Craft Chocolate Food Tour
Many are surprised to learn of the Mission District’s rich, chocolate-y history. Several innovative chocolate and confection factories have called this area home in both past and present, creating both sweet and savory samples for you to enjoy. Experience the treat in unexpected forms, such as the Latin take on chocolate with mole poblano sauce at SanJalisco, or the cacao fruit smoothie from Dandelion Chocolate. Handcrafted confections from Sixth Course will surely satisfy your sweet tooth, as will the rich and smooth Valrhona drinking chocolate from Craftsman and Wolves. Top off the tour with a chocolate-infused cocktail from Tacolicious’ Mosto. Insider’s tip: the stops on this tour are fairly spread out, so be sure to bring your walking shoes. All Edible Excursions stops are subject to change depending upon availability. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice.
