Whether you’re an artist, art lover, or not, you will be transported with all your senses. These chosen locales are our personal friends and local soul favorites. It's because of – their sense of creative place, and ongoing art-making living history. Rooftops, secret alleys, a speakeasy salon ... the oldest and only "sound-sculpture-theatre" in the world, are experienced into the afternoon and evening. Rub shoulders, meet and sketch, with local artists. Really, this tour is like an immersive Art History of San Francisco. Once you take it, you can impress your friends with new-found knowledge, and share with them these alternative artsy places – where you can see, make, and buy, original art. This tour is 4-5 hours long, and as an option, can include an evening performance. We’ll be walking or standing 50% of the time, so this is essentially an active experience. You will experience a private class, in a cozy living room, by an artist/owner of Lost Art Salon. Transportation to the non-walking distance venues, and refreshments, are included in price. Additional food and beverage can be purchased at the beginning and end of the tour. Requirements: -Ability to walk 1+/- miles on city streets, staircases, no fear of heights or of random acts of sketching and drawing. -Refund Policy Full refund 24 hours prior notice -Price: $85 per person. Two-person minimum. (Solo guests still welcome at $160) -Weather Policy Weather is not a factor on this experience. Rain or Shine. -What to Where & Bring: Wear layers for SF wacky weather, walking shoes, water.
